alright I've started a list with everyone's request. im going to start with the raw castings since im still trying to figure out how to get paint. i know the cruiser corps pewter works well but they are sold out. i have no problem paying 22 bucks for shipping from jto since ill buy 2 cans... but they want 44 bucks shipping for two cans!!! im going to call them in a couple days to see if that is a mistake.

i also got a higher quality resin. alumilite water clear.

finally, i won't take any money until yours are ready. i am going to PM in the order that was requested by PM and in the thread. if you don't respond to the PM in a couple days ill just bump you down the list until you respond. expect mid/late January at this rate for the painted ones since i need to acquire the pewter.

in the meantime I still have some less than perfect options. $15 for the bottom and $10 for the top (Large bubble in the T).

what years do these buttons fit? I have a 1972 fj40, steering wheel is packed away somewhere.....

spector says 1958-9/1972 so yours should be correct. If it has the early style column (long shaft ;)) this horn button will fit your steering wheel... though I'm pretty sure the early early ones had chrome lettering

I have got an early one, will post some pics here in couple of days.

called JToutfitters - $44 shipping for two cans is definitely incorrect. Shipping for two cans is about the same as it is for one can. The correct pewter is on its way...

i can now make one every three to four hours. i made a new mold from the sanded and polished one above. i haven't gotten anew original but i think these are just fine. im going to start messaging people soon for the raw ones. they still need a day or two to fully cure

i have about 20 total castings made just waiting to be painted and i decided not to send the raw ones out yet.. i want to make sure they all look good painted. the mold already deteriorated and they dulled out too so I will need to polish a few. I'm going to make a new mold for the raw ones and use silicone spray on the front to keep the mold producing nice and shiny pieces. The back sides can't get silicone on them or they will be hard to paint

Man those look fantastic.... can't wait.
