, especially for those lucky enough to have an honest extended-cab version.

:flipoff2:

Did they really make an honest extended-cab version?

So all those posers in NASCAR should stop calling their vehicles monte carlos etc? They are just bringing down the value of the real thing. Sheesh, I knew there was something unethical about that organization.

I think Medusa just had a bad day yesterday. Maybe he'll come back today and apologize for making an ass of himself.

myquestoyota's signature says this

Don't argue with an idiot; they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I just thought I might add that, while everyone is in there appropriate corner :D

ok, I've said my piece... **DING DING** Fight ON!!! :flipoff2:

I agree with you FJ 62 I put in my two cents in over on 'D's page and it pretty much says what I feel, not going to argue with people that are not thinking straight, no won wins.

I am probably not going to make myself popular with this post, but I feel an obligation to request some honesty.

Webster defines a lie as "a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive. I am tired of folks cutting up or bobbing an FJ40 and then calling it an FJ45. The frames of a 45 and 40 as well as many other parts are very different. To claim a butchered 40 is a 45 may seem cool, but IMO it is dishonest and doesn't do our hobby any good at all. More importantly, it diminishes the value of a real FJ45, especially for those lucky enough to have an honest extended-cab version.

The pictures on this thread are all of cut FJ40's.

This is the most egregious example of a deliberate attempt to deceive. There is not a single significant part on that truck that came from an FJ45, and yet D'Animal continues to deceive folks into thinking it has something to do with a 45. I have pointed the fact out to him that it is dishonest, but that does not seem to matter.

Flame away -- I am just a grumpy old fart who believes in honesty and "truth in advertising":flipoff2:

You think way too much of yourself. I would say you are an igatistical megalomaniac.

A 40 is a 40... don't call it something it is not.

That's all Medusa is saying. And I agree.

If you modify a 40 to look like a 45, call it what it is, a shortened 40 (a shorty 40:lol: )

Oh...I kind of agree with the honesty thing but on this site everybody knows what's what so no big deal. Now if you were buying one from one of those less-than-trustworthy Cruiser houses I'd be worried.
