You figure about right, it got to the point where i just tightened the bolts till they broke, the other way was not working.
Really though the bolts were not needed, there was enough silicone to do about ten boob jobs.

Got some paint on the underhood portions of the fenders, bib, aprons and hood.

Got the dash scuffed up just in time for the rain, draped a tarp over truck and gassed myself painting the dash.

Cleaned out the dead rat and all his s*** out of the heater, he was the second dead rat found in the truck.

I thought you were doing a quick once over to make this a bashin' wheelin' rig? Looking great!

OH, YA, RIGHT, SORRY, what can i say, i can't seem to leave well enough alone.
Did you get your top off, do you still require help.
Let me know.

This ting is going to be so sweet rolling on 42's.............. I know its inevitable. :D

Not yet, but I'll call you. Might be after the June meeting; have to carry all the prizes to the meeting and if it rains, that would be nasty.

More like a small block Chevy, not everyone with a Land Cruiser in a diesel fanboy. I personally enjoy get up and go, don't really care that much about economy. When I want economy I drive my Accord.

Well i do have an extra 3B/4spd splitcase, but i also have a 96 350 LT1, that will go nicely with the V8 adapter i picked up from Jake (pbgbottle).
But for now the 2F with the Holley toilet bowl injection will do to get it on the road.

Sure Vince, you know you want to put the 350 LT1 in it..... ;) I mean, you went to all the trouble to paint the heater, you might as well put the V8 in it!

I thought this was for the son, if so, any transplant going in there better be slow, and I see no better candidate than the 3B.:hillbilly:

I think Vince's son has been driving the 1980 PU with a SBC in it, pretty hard to go back to a 3B after that
Heaven forbid he get's on the HUSA (probably already has)

I don't think so; It's because of the SBC. Vince knows the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...

You got that right Rob, he is going to work up to the PU, and that is why the 40 is staying a six for now.
Right up until he starts driving the PU, THEN it gets a smallblock.
And no he has not ridden my Husaberg yet....(that i know of).

Put up a shelter, got tired of working in the dam rain.
Put on some sheet metal and lined it up some what, body lines are kind of wonky but good enough.
Started on the rockers, cut the old crap off and formed up a new pieces.
