Hi there guys, thought i would share this Vehicle with you. I met a guy from Naples FL who has a lovely FJ40/80. Its an FJ40 body sitting on a shortened 80 series chassis powered by a 6 cyl 1HD-T turbo Diesel Engine..what a beauty. Jerome built this vehicle himself...Enjoy!!!

That is absolutely beautiful.


Do you know if the frame needed to be shortened between the front and rear axles, or just bobbed? Any pictures of the build up?

Jerome shortened the frame abeam the transmission where it starts to get narrow. He then sent the frame to be galvanized after the welding job haaa. I will ask him if he has pics of the build..in fact i will try to get him to sign up here.
