survey is closed WTF?

Done -- Guess I just got in before they closed it. Time to go pack my bags :grinpimp:

Called it a big dissapointment. Asked... 'Why are you destroying the legacy of the FJ40?'

Hopefully someone's listening.

Anyone else get this message??

The study's been closed. Thank you for your visit. We look forward to your future participation.

Okay, who pissed off the website?? Now their closed and I didn't even have an opportunity to ask for both front and rear independent suspension, lower ride height, 2-wheel drive and 4 clynder engine for better fuel economy, and a fake hood scoop to make it look cool.

Wow, I must have gotten into it just before they cut it off. I just finished mine. Hopefully they are actually paying attention to these.

They probably were paying attention to it until this rag-tag group of freaks poluted their properly prepared survey...

Just finished, and I wasn't very nice.

Nice find Alvaro. I just took the survey. Two things I asked for were front/rear lockers and hybrid.

I did the survey about 2 hours ago.

I also said they should of included a solid front axle (coil) as well as a front locker.
Basically I said it looks more like a yuppie college kid truck and not a real off-road machine. When they asked about "Capability" I think I gave it a 4 out of 10.

I was considering getting one (not sure what I was thinking), but now I am saving for a HDJ81 Cruiser. Since I am in Canada I am going to spend the extra and get one of the imports from Japan.

Cheers,
Nick

"Survey Closed" hmmm... Lost all credibility with me...

Must be closed because I won the trip to SEMA.

Survey done!

I let them have it for not putting a solid front axle or a diesel or hybrid engine. I made the comparison to the Liberty diesel and the TJ Rubicon. ;p

Let's hope we can skew the market research a bit.

Just read this article this morning concerning Toyota's commitment to Hybrid technology (Associated Press).

'Press said Toyota will meet its goal by aggressively introducing new hybrid versions of its lineup. The company launched two hybrid sport utility vehicles this year — the Lexus RX 400h hybrid in April and the Toyota Highlander hybrid in June — and will introduce hybrid versions of the Lexus GS sedan and the Toyota Camry next year.

In addition, Press said Toyota has 10 hybrids under development.'

I'm interested in knowing what the other 10 hybrids are?? Considering that there are only 13 Toyota models, 3 Scion models, and 6 Lexus models not already hybrid.

My money is on a FJC hybrid.

Well I did manage to complete the survey yesterday before it closed.....

Makes you wonder if it was originally planned to close at that time, or if
someone was monitoring the results and didn't like the results they
were getting.

I was easy on them, but I did mention the Solid Axle and lack of a removable top.

Should have mentioned the hybrid, but ,like madams557, I figure that is in the works
already anyhow.

That would not be a bad ride for the wife ........if I could get a hybrid version of it....

I didn't get to do the survey either, but according to the small print (rules) listed in the email, the contest was supposed to go from 8/3/05 through 9/23/05, so WTF???

Yup, completed mine yesterday, sounds like it may be different than the last one.

methinks they've wised up. when i click on this link and then enter the survey it shows the survey complete with your personal email and address. their new system must now only allow one person to complete the survey.

you ought to delete the link if you don't want your address shown.
