NICE keep up the good work

Warp the metal?

I forgot to tell ya, when I've done bed bobs, I take a chunk of the cut out section and put it in as a backer. It fits the contours perfectly and makes filling the gaps super easy and doesn't warp the metal near as much.

Shucks, I'm using a 3lb sledge hammer to get the dents out.

:D

That bed makes the truck look much more complete. Can't wait to see it with the top on.

hey dan looks so much better with the wheel wells opened up...nice

Pretty amazing job. Nice Thread. Personally I like the flatbed look. good job. I look forward to seeing it painted up. Have you decided what the color is going to be? You can do some photoshop comps and see what it looks like.

Absolutely awesome looking rig!!

Had a good laugh when I read how FC Fabrication laughed at your 'mock up' then worked their magic.

Everything looks 'right' from the length to the tire size and the height. The box finishes it off beautifully IMO.

Are you still planning on using the full roof rack over the top?
Have you got a top made or being made yet?

Truely inspirational.

Thanks Steve

The wheel base is 122" and the inside of the bed 5' long.

I have the FJ40 roof panel. I have to get the top and bottom windsheild gaskets and get secured it properly as well as the rear window area completed before I cut the fiberglass to fit.

I'm waiting on Patch Panels from CCOT to finish the bed. When the bed is off, I will be plumbing in the second fuel tank with a transfer pump as well as getting the wireing for the rear light completed.

SWEET!!!

Any news from the colonies?
