You can buy them on eBay.@FJRyder I don’t suppose you have a spare, repaired ECU unit I could buy from you and then send you mine, do you? My ‘05 has the ABS, VSC Trac, VSC Off lights coming on with no codes. It’s a daily driver so I’d love to find a quick swap out solution.

Dang, they’re proud of them. Although I’m sure it’s a lot cheaper than going to a mechanic. If I’m going to spend $1,000, I need to make sure this is the correct repair! You can buy them on eBay.

@FJRyder Are you still accepting repairs? I tried to send a DM but your Inbox is full! ThanksSorry, I don't have a spare to swap out.
I can turn it around in 24-48 hours.
Thanks, DM sent.Yes I am. Thanks for letting me know my inbox is full. I just cleared it up some.
That's awesome, thanks for letting me know! Thanks a million for this thread @FJRyder - I just repaired my ABS module with the 45-cent resonator (and some beer, and a lot of help from a friend who is an electronics wizard). I bought the resonator from Newark that you mentioned on page one. Sure enough, that ONE resonator was completely freaking dead, and that's what caused my inability to connect with the ABS/VSC/TRAC module at all in techstream. I was able to communicate with every other module in the vehicle, except for that one. And now it works great. I had to power cycle the car a couple of times for the dashboard lights to go away, but they went away on their own.
I'm guessing turning the ignition on and off was enough to clear the erroneous codes, cool.Funny you say that, the first time when I started it up and the lights remained, I thought "let's do a zero point calibration on it", so I went back inside and grabbed my techstream equipment, headed back out, started the car once again and the lights went out.
Since the the problem is intermittent, it ill be difficult to perform any useful diagnostics.ABS ECU experts please advise. My wife was driving my 07 lx a few days ago when the brake, abs, ?trac, ?vsc, ?skid lights lit up while she was driving it. She thinks they stayed lit for awhile, no CEL, and no buzzer. The car was driving normal as far as she knows. She's put another 500 miles on the car since with no issues. At this point is there anything that I can do besides wait for it to happen again so I can run diagnostics on it? I have techstream if that helps.
It was also raining heavily at the time. I'm thinking water in a speed sensor connector? I have techstream setup however catching the problem when it happens will be difficult. I was thinking of putting some dielectric grease at those connectors and see how it goes.Since the the problem is intermittent, it ill be difficult to perform any useful diagnostics.
Your best bet is to get TechSteam with cable and check for error codes. You can also use it to monitor wheel position sensors to look for issues.
There could be other random things causing this as well. Search around for these but something as unusual as a gas cap (less likely). Most likely to the the ABS ECU.
I can imagine it could be possible for this to set it off, I'm just not sure how likely that it.It was also raining heavily at the time. I'm thinking water in a speed sensor connector? PM'dIf anyone is looking for a spare ABS ECU, I have one that needs the resonator repair. I used this unit while I sent my original to FJRyder for repair. I have since sold my LX470.
