Ordered.
....now I don't know what to do with all this free time.
Reusing old carpet is most definitely an option! Just be sure to take the time to melt or seal the cut edges somehow so it doesn’t fray.I’ll definitely be ordering one of these in a month or so. Curious for those of us whose original tailgate carpet is still in good shape is it possible to just re-use it rather than ordering new carpet? Accepting of course cutting up the old carpet won’t look as nice.
While you Delta guys are messing around in the tailgate area any chance we could talk you into fabbing up a little hinged flap that comes down and covers the gap between the rear floor and the tailgate? Comparable to the vinyl/plastic flap that came standard 100 Series.
And since you’re frequently up on this thread I’ll take a second to let you know your original pre-production 80 series rear bumper is still holding up beautifully through some hard wheeling! I haven’t had to go back and tighten or readjust a single thing since the day I installed it, including Jerry can holders and the high lift and/mounts. It’s unbelievably stout!

I built my own tailgate storage for my 105 series.
The little flap began a bit of a pain. i contemplated removing it, but in balance think it was worth keeping.
It would often bind on the tailgate storage lid when opening the lid, meaning a second hand was needed to lift the flap.
Two hands were needed to open the tailgate hatch slam latches. So it was a little awkward at times.
I think different latches that started in the released position would maybe alleviate this, but then you have latches you have to re-latch every time which is a negative in itself
Am dumb, cannot findLive on the site
Different strokes for different folks, as they say. The fact we are still in business says there are plenty of people who don’t want the high-school science project look. Our lid makes the tailgate significantly stronger as well, instead of weakening it.$1,000? !!!!! File under more money than brains. I have 2x $35 12"x12" access pannels. All the storage I need.

no worries at all. that's really the only consistent complaint we get about our products, the cost. that and wait times for radius arms.Sorry I was a bit rash with my comment but was genuinely surprised at the cost. Must be getting old.
I really appreciate your continued support of our relic rigs. Thank you. I use your rear panhard bracket and front coil spring spacer.
Cheers
