Loving that green. Pops.

Do you recognize this idea where you want to limit yourself in what to do with something and before you know it you’re down the 🐇 🕳️.

Very common syndrome in our house. More prevalent than COVID-19. The capabilities at your beckon call when you rise up from the hole is worth it. Carry on.

BTW, what am I looking at? lathe component?

Nope, this is the bottom part of the mill.
this one has a Bridgeport type head but the head goes up and down not the bed.

Moved the mil to a different location. Figured as long as the table is off it fits through the opening to the machine shop.
The tower is ready for Paint. That part better come in next week or I’m going to take more apart.

Really like that color. Lots of taping. Reminds me of my son painting his 2H cylinder head. Curious to see what you build with this. Nice work! I see a 40 series axle lurking.

I try to tape as little as possible, the part between the green and the gray will be covered by a tray that catches the coolant.

Started reorganizing the back of the shop.
mill is ready as far as I can at the moment, surface grinder in position for now.
slowly getting the space back for the 40.

Not much to show for but cleaned up the blasting cabinet, took the glass out, cleaned it and replaced the foil on the inside.
Replaced the gloves an moved the vacuum unit to be able to position it more efficient.
