Went beach wheeling last night, not exactly what you would think of the OBX, but I was out on Carolina beach for a while with the sister since I came down to vist her at school and help her take some junk back home. It was a blast, but dark so none of my pics turned out well. The '92 did great, 50psi, high range, center diff open, no troubles at all!

I plan to go back out some time tomorrow before I leave to go home, damn school for me Monday.

BTW, has anyone thought about meeting near Hatteras during the 19th-25th of June? I would love the see more cruisers out there!

Man, I've been buried at work since I got back and haven't had time to resize and post more pics. Did some tonight. I took almost 400 pics on the trip, the weather was the best we've ever had for a full week.

Here are a few more - cruiser beach shot, Hatteras lighthouse, Ocracoke lighthouse.

More action. Our Captain kicked ass. Rom Whitaker on the Release out of Hatteras. Our 1st mate, Lee, was top notch too.

The first pic is a sunrise shot taken by my bro through the outrigger. Makes an awesome desktop background and makes work that much harder... :D

Our boat and first mate and final shot is of one side of the marina's fleet. The Release is 3rd one in from the left (between the red and aqua sf).

Processing area where they cleaned, vacuum sealed, froze, stored and then prepped with dry ice for the voyage home.

Back to the cruiser. :D

Caught 2 nice red drum near sunset - literally right in Oregon Inlet.

Second one is an ORV area - coastal style. Pretty cool - we wheeled all over the preserve. There is a gopher tortoise in this pic refusing to give us right of way. :D

Last one is the Release coming into the marina 2 days later when we went to pick our Tuna, Dolphin and Wahoo sashimi from storage!

Final shots.

Oregon Inlet Marina from the speeding cruiser.

Bodie Island lighthouse.

VA state line reached on the beach north of Duck and Corolla. Saw some cool horses all around that area.

OBX is an awesome place. I can't wait to go back!!

Thanks Marshall. I can't wait to go back. Man, I've got the bug.

It would be REAL easy to just check out and head over there for a year or 10... :D

I'll def be back there next April if not before.

How was y'alls beach trip?

No can do that week. In a golf tourney here in Charlotte.

It will be a while until I can take the time to get back. :crybaby:
