As you can see, the entire front cross-member is angled/sloped as compared to the pics of my red 77 FJ40 a few posts back. Somewhere between 65 and 77, Toyota modified the front cross-member.

You’re making great progress on this 45! It’s still crazy to me you can still get some of these parts OEM from Toyota almost 60 years later?!?!?!New OEM lights.

Yeah, it was explained to me that the Landcruiser line of Toyota models has been the longest continuous model line for the company as far as use of the Landcruiser name. Since it is their flagship model, they have continued parts production all thru the years on a lot of parts but not all.You’re making great progress on this 45! I had always thought someone (with more skill than me) could take an old set of turn signal housings and cut off the backside. Then add 3 screw tabs like on the front and add an amber lense and have a double sided turn signals. I do realize it wouldn’t be screw lenses with red on the back side nor is it technically correct for this model. But a less expensive alternative to a otherwise very rare part.
