The 2nd Orion picture looks great! Out of curiosity what were your camera settings?
Hi Phil,

Both shots were F/4, 24-70 lens set wide at 24mm, ISO 800.

The first Orion shot was 15.7 seconds, the second was 27.3 seconds. I was using the remote and timing by guesswork (one chimpanzee, two chimpanzee, etc.)

Thanks @Saddletramp for organizing this one, I think everyone had a great time! Thanks @Stepmurr for the great quality pics, I brought my camera but didn't take it out once

Thanks @Dimples, @LongDuck, @rctoyota Cleo, and @Chrismanjs for all the cooking, and to everyone else who contributed, we definitely ate like kings! I'm still reveling in that Saturday night chili and macaroni & cheese...

Thanks everyone who made it for braving the possibility of downpours and coming anyway, we pretty much lucked out and even saw the sun for a good amount of time. Everyone else, wish you could have come but there will always be a next run!

Great pics Steve

Included a couple of Alvis's popular Skottle!
