So a funny thing happened yesterday. Was browsing marketplace and saw a driveshaft for 10 bucks, not far from where my wife works so I asked her to pick it up for me.
I want to build a new one for the 40, so I've been looking for something to chop up for the tubing.
This is the pic from the ad. I didn't ask many questions because...10 bucks.
Nothing there for scale, but on a small phone screen I figured it was just out of a jeep or something.
Not so much
Here's my foot for scale. 4.5" tube. Weighs a freakin ton.
So yeah. If anyone needs a driveshaft for their dump truck or semi ... otherwise it's probably becoming a gate post

Toyota FJ40 rock crawler project. Will need some assembly but I threw in some cheaper electronics so if you put it back together and add wheels you can be crawling. Has the peices to put the roof...

Haha, the process of registering it with (I assume) a BC applied vin would be a treat I'm not sure I want to deal with.
Besides, don't you have like 17 extra trucks and engines laying around waiting for something like that?
