I bet the off camber with a mattress on top really makes the mothapucker clinch

If that doesn't then the 6" heavy suspension so loaded with beer and charcuterie (whatever that is, but we will soon find out) that it is flexing like a slinky ought to do it.

With a 100' drop a few inches to the side to a switchback below and another 100' drop below that.
Google Earth puts it at 150' to the first pause, then 560 feet (total) to the bottom.
But i'm telling everyone it's 1200' cuz I was there and the seat pucker effect is real.

We are entering a Stage II EPIC ALERT LEVEL at this point.

Well if that's the case, then these two videos should assist.....

Stage II EPIC ALERT Level, aka the HOLY EPIC Level.

Note that at 1:30 of the second video, you can see the boatloads of coeds that ran out of fuel on spring break and are stranded and waiting for us with umbrella drinks.

HOLY EPIC Level has been reached, but do not think for a minute our minds have been boggled.

was so hard not to stare at the horizon, especially after being told there were boat loads of bikini babes waiting for me.

We wished for those babes so hard that if we were to even summon a single houseboat with our minds... they would not be blown, but it would surely move the EPIC ALERT needle a little more.

Damn, my 60 sure is looking like an 80. Once we do the body swap, I don't think anyone will ever know that it is a 60 :grinpimp:

It's hard to grasp the scale of things out here. Just driving down the shelf road took 10 or 15 minutes. It will take that long again before we reach the shore.

Once down the shelf road, you drive through a dry creek wash for a bit before picking up the trail again. As you make your way to the shore, descending lower and lower, you pass old campfire ring after old campfire ring as you chase the waters' edge as it has gotten lower and lower over the years since Lake Powell's high water mark.

No doubt boats have anchored way back in here at one time.

Eventually, though, WE ARE ON THE FAWKING SHORE!!!

We entering EPIC LEVEL III, which is like HOLY EPIC LEVEL II on the HOLY EPIC scale.

We are practically soiling ourselves at the excitement.

Seriously. The only thing that could top this is if there were stranded bikini babes in our cove.

The houseboat is clearly beached on a small island in a small lagoon and not moving, and the inhabitants have set up tents on the island because there are so many that they can't all fit on the boat. But we don't see signs of life.

Yet.

We saw some boats and ski-doos flee the area earlier, so they must be out somewhere, getting tan and making our umbrella drinks.

They are on an island, so we can't just walk over, but Alex and and Paul are thinking of making an epic water crossing to the island, because they have rooftop tents and are the most logical to make first contact.

We would have sent @beno with the babe-mobile, but he is only rolling 33's w/a 2-1/2" lift and doesn't have a snorkle.

We eventually called off the mission due to the water being too deep, but we have time on our side. We have enough supplies to hold out for a while, so we will wait it out.

But we have two pairs of binoculars, and we will take shifts keeping watch until the stranded super-tan spring break babes return.
