Speaking of @wngrog and ninja dude pictures, check out what I spotted:

I was a bit nervous when @MountNGoat slipped off the line, but it all ended well! Must have made for a fun ride inside! It's a game of inches, oddly enough.

I was worried at pic #2 above because your axles were all crossed up, then I saw pic #3, YIKES!

Yep, that's the pic @MountNGoat can't show Mrs. MountNGoat. But Johnny didn't slip around at all right there and was perfectly safe, I swear!

Yeah, slipping off that was a bit exhilarating, have to say.

We make our way to the top of Grey Mesa, which overlooks the big bend of the San Juan River.

It's an amazing view that is almost impossible to photograph.

We take in the view and take advantage of the cell service for a few minutes and then blast off rally-style down the smooth, flat doubletrack.

Shortly after, Andy blind-folds us and spots us around a turn that takes us to a top-secret trail that won't be mentioned by name in the thread.

This place is otherworldy with weird globs of giant cowpatty-like stone "droppings". Totally different from the Stallion Pile-esque stone formations seen last year in NevAdA.

A storm is rolling in, adding to the drama. We aren't sure if the secret trail is even passable, we're told it is challenging, and we don't need a flash-flood to increase the intensity level.

We pass the cow plops and enter into narrow rock canyon with a steep drop at the end. We are wondering how the heck we are going to climb this on the way out.

Here's another stabilized vertical dash-cam video of this interesting section:

Check out the drop at the end:

The little canyon pooped us out right at the perfect lunch spot.

The guy piloting this beast is 89 years old. Pretty remarkable to be out here wheeling & camping at that age.

.

Impressive, but living proof that jeep guys aren't as fun as we are. None of us will live that long (we don't "tread lightly" on the fun):
