So the mystery cup... what was in it?

Cream corn.

That's right, cream mutha fuggin' corn. Which seems pretty funny to me. Who TF brings on a camping trip? Reese's, I can understand, but cream corn?

However this wasn't your momma's cream corn, it was #creamcornAF from Rudy's. And, in a bold move that had to have been inspired by #ETAF himself*, someone poured it in with the brisket, and stirred it with a healthy dash of Lou's magic pepper blend.

With a ring of Bomar's famous Fire Crackers, it was out of this world...

Then @Papalud blew our ever-loving minds with some home made lemon chess bars that he had been hoarding this whole time.

All of this food had #ETAF riled up and again, before anyone could stop him*, he threw another can of Great Stuff in the fire.

At this point, #ETAF was fully out of control. He tried to make a Sobe Bomb, but luckily for us, it didn’t explode.

Just like his green(texting) friend, you can't take him* anywhere.

So, there has to be a back-story on why y'all had enough Great Stuff "on hand" that there was sufficient excess to use for pyrotechnics......... Y'all find a case on sale, and think, well, why not.........?

I've just never thought about GS as being an overlanding staple

Oh, and Rudy's cream corn is DEFINITELY overlanding staple-worthy!

The Great Stuff was required for the probing. Kinda like Astroglide, but the opposite :grinpimp:

If you remember back to post 392, I said that we were going to probe #ETAF tonight. The poor guy* was in really rough shape and could not even hold himself* up.

So we gave him an artificial backbone, carefully engineered out of Great Stuff and PVC pipe...

Holy s*** I literally spit beer out my nose

The next morning, way too early, I awoke to the sound of Nolen sneaking off quietly before he could attract any followers. I planned to take two days to drive back, so I planned to take it easy in the morning and leave with a later group.

However, when I heard Andy and Bomar packing up shortly after Nolen, I had visions of also making it home in one day. Or at least getting close. This woke up Fireman, who also decided to tag along with the second wave.

It was still very early. And very dark. When we made it out to the main highway, there were some spectacular clouds forming:

As the sun got closer to the horizon, the clouds began to dissipate...

Giving way to a sunrise of all sunrises...
