Was that a mirror hanging on the ceiling above the bed at the watchtower? Freaky :censor: !!!

How else would you watch for fires when you are "sleep"ing?

That night, I was was enjoying my usual restless camping slumber, when I heard a faint rustling on the feet of my nylon sleeping bag.

I sleep in the back of my 60, and in order to fit in the truck, I sleep with the hatch down and the tailgate folded out. This keeps the wind down, but allows some ventilation, and gives my feet room to stick out.

So there I was, feet sticking out of the truck, when I heard a very faint noise. I pulled my hand out of the warm sleeping back to see what was going on, and the feet of my sleeping bag was damp. WTF? It doesn't rain in New Mexico.

I got out my headlamp to take a look and it was snowing, pretty good too. All my gear on the ground had a pretty good dusting. I jumped out and found some groundcloth plastic to close up in my hatch to keep the snow from blowing in. A few hours later, when the sun finally came out, we woke up to a winter wonderland.

It had gotten pretty cold overnight. I had my side windows cracked on the camper and they had gotten covered with snow. I jumped out to pee and snapped a pic. I must have been shivering...

Poor girl. What a trooper if she made it.

@PabloVTA do you have that same lonesome homesick feeling?

Is it me or the tears in my eyes, but the blue thing is always blurry...

It really depends on how you look at it.
