It is like uber for rental cars. You borrow people's cars and there are some decent 4x4 options on there.

Apache Trail does not exist as such anymore: a rockslide obliterated part of the trail, so it's now closed a few miles in from each end

the Four Peaks area of Tonto National Forest is closed for the foreseeable future, due to the massive Bush Fire

other than that, be prepared for the furnace that is the Valley of the Sun in summer

Thanks for the update. Probably head over to Sedona. Had a great time last visit...with plenty of water on board the Grey Ghost. Lol.
