This looks like a really awesome and functional build. Any additional info on this?

company should launch soon, phalcontrailers.com

I'm interested in that side folding tent...would something like that be made available without the rest of the trailer?

Ok, not a trailer but sure getting to the exotic level. I’d like to see if a small camper would fit to my BJ74 with the
top off.
WOOLRICH LIMITED EDITION FLAT BED MODEL - Four Wheel Campers | Low Profile, Light Weight, Pop-up Truck Campers

bj74 might be a bit short...I cut off the rear end of my fj55 and put a tray on it. even at 6 1/2' long, it is just barely big enough to fit one of those flatbed campers. Now, a 75 series pickup would be right at home under one of these things...but, yeah, they sure do seem appealing!

I'm personally not a fan of FWC campers for one simple reason, their cab over-hang is so short that you have to pull out the upper bed for two to use it. With the bed pulled out I don't think it a good idea to use some or all of the kitchen. Which means I would have to face SWMBO in the morning pre-coffee.

It's a trade-off, to go further forward and support the weight moved there so the bed didn't have to be pulled out would require increasing the height of the cab-over portion of the camper. All other aspects of FWC's are great!

possibly, PM me with more information.

Picked up my second Venturcraft Trailblazer a few weeks ago. Planning to tow with my fj60.
I picked the trailer in San Diego from a ex-dealer of the trailers in so-cal. He ordered it from factory to fit 33” wheels. Every upgrade possible was ordered with the trailer from what the PO said.

Cool find! Does he happen to have any parts? There's a couple items that I'd like to have for ours.

Sycamore Cyn?

It came with an awning and a small table that hangs off the side of the interior storage access. There a spot on the opposite side of the changing room to have an ac unit. Also the windows and doors had a different. Oh and the fabric that lays against the tire is cut and sew to fit the profile. My last one simply flopped over the tire.

Leo Carrillo is the camp spot.

We have the awning, but there apparently was an extended enclosure made (zippers down the sides near the door flaps) that I'd like to have. We also have the hard cover and I'd really like to have the soft cover for when we're on the road with it.

I may make a soft cover for ours. If I do I’ll let ya know. Would be much easier to set up and save some lbs. The last one I had came with the original soft top. The material easily ripped, maybe due to its age. I was thinking a soft top out of sunbrella could be nice.

I've talked to a local marine canvas shop about making such a cover. They recommended using a vinyl impregnated synthetic canvas for a cover. According to him Sunbrella isn't waterproof or even water resistant. He also recommended reinforcing the corners of the cover where it would rub on the floor frame with leather.

I do not have much of anything, based on those zippers I've only got conjecture that they made an enclosure of some sort or had planned to make one.

All makes sense. I recall my last soft cover having issues in the corners with holes and a torn area.
