Well I may be the proud owner of a very rust free FJ55, it even has air.

Plans

Not a buggy

Keep it pretty stock plus.........

Suspension, spring over
1HZ, H55
Turbo intercooler
Possible vegggie oil burning kit
35s or maybe 37s (family rig that will wheel a bit)
FF rear axle
E-Lockers maybe converted too cables?
Front buckets
Sound system
Uprgraded birfs
Thinking EXO Cage, nothing that cuts into the body

What ya think?


My true wheeler will be a Fj45 buggy since there are a couple cab chasis kicking around near me.

Sweet man - you shoud be able to go 35s with a spung over conversion (setup I have on mine). Only problem with the pig is the little bits - make sure all the rubber/plastic/glass/trim is there...or you'll be pulling hair out later. Post lots of pics of that diesel conversion (might have to do mine next!).

pics man! I'm running 35's on my 55....I have a 4" Alcan Lift and they fit nicely. Which i might be selling the Alcans and going SOA...just for 37's....oh ya congrats!
