Escape Gear Seat Covers for 200

I skipped the install in favor of letting Paul from Equipt handle it in a Mexico hotel parking garage :D

finally got my front seat cover in.....with the help of advice here, that eventually happened. looking to put on the backrest cover on now....aaaaand I don't see any cutouts for the monitors. couldn't really believe it at first...doubled checked for a hidden seam.....doubled checked my order to see if I made a mistake.....nope, looks like the sent me the wrong backrest. sigh.

if anyone here has the seat covers and you have monitors on your backrest, mind posting some pics? I don't think there are any on Equipt's web site or on this thread. maybe I made a mistake here and some pics can point that out.

Sounds like you ended up with the wrong ones if you had originally requested ones with the backrest cutouts. Oddly enough, I also had originally ordered those for my truck but they came without the cutouts as well. However, I just decided to keep them and to plug the monitor holes with some foam as I didn't want the screens anyway. Assuming you're planning on keeping the screens, you'll likely need to return your seatback covers for the ones with the cutouts. Bummer.

He was more than willing to help. Paul has been a supporter and Canguro Racing team member since the early days and comes to Mexico with us every chance he gets (he's got a busy travel schedule himself). We were doing some race car prep in the parking garage and he came and asked for my keys. A total stud!

yeah, it's a bummer alright. I'll call Equipt first thing Monday and see where to go from here.

to the compound the situation, it looks like the 2nd row bench seats have to be returned as well. sucks because they went on a lot easier and the fit and feel looks great! problem is that the center arm rest does not match 2016-1018 LC. something I didn't know, but I guess the center armrest design was different before the refresh. looking at their website now, the pics shown of that 2nd row seat and that armrest on the LC 200 2016 page is not accurate.....unless I'm wrong here and Toyota made that change on the 2017+.

either way I'll let you all know what's up after I speak to them.
 
I just installed the second row covers (dog proofing) and they were a treat to install. Great fit and the khaki goes well with the saddle leather. Paul and Equipt were easy to work with and they shipped through USPS which is a real benefit to Canadians because it saves about $70 in duty and brokerage. Thanks Paul. Now if I could just get a couple of those Escape decals for inside the windows.
 
Anyone know if these will fit a LX570 2nd row?
@GordJ did they ship you just a second row or do you have to buy both front and second rows?
Tryign to get ahead of the dog damages as well haha
 
Do these seat covers allow for the rear armrest to move freely and the cup holders to pop Out and the little console to be accessible in the second row arm rest? Have a ‘17 Cruiser. Anybody have pics of the second row armrest?

No photos handy but the answer is "yes" to all of your questions. The pop-out cupholders do still work but every now and then you may need to move the seams aside a bit.

Is that based on not seeing them advertised on their site? I have been e-mailing Kristin over the last week about making a seat cover purchase.

Pretty sure they do, as I recently got mine through them. Escape Gear lowered their pricing, maybe Equipt is revamping the seat cover portion of their website to reflect that. I’d give Paul and Kristin a call or shoot them an email...
