My 2nd row covers look like yours....with the velcro acess points/ flaps to get at the LATCH points for securing car seats and booster seats. My kids are past the booster seat phase, so I'd rather not have those flaps because they are always getting out of place.

Went by Equipt today and saw the 200 series seat covers. Wow they are nice ! I’ll be getting a set for my 200.

I’m 67 and still have car seat duty on occasion.

I don't believe that you can route the straps and buckles of the seat covers "behind" the plastic trim on the front of the driver seat like you can on the passenger seat. The little shelf that allows for the adjustability of the thigh portion of the seat (up and down) makes it impossible for the buckles to turn that corner. It would be possible if the buckles weren't placed directly at the front of the seat covers (for instance, they could be placed at the back but might be harder to feed rearward).

This is of course only in my particular case, with my specific seat covers and my specific vehicle (2009 LX570).

I know there are multiple LXs in this thread with the escape gear covers, but I guess something has changed in the manufacturing. I ordered mine directly from escape gear about a month ago, and today was informed that they don't have a pattern to fit my seats. I had sent in my pictures as requested and even redirected them to this thread showing them installed on the same model. No go, they are sending a refund. I know there are slight differences in the contour of the LC/LX fronts but they are adamant it won't work. 🤷‍♂️ Bummer.

Suggestions for the best alternative for an '11 LX ?

I’m torn between grey and charcoal. Depending on the camera and lighting, charcoal looks like it either has a greenish tint or brownish tint to them. What color can you guys describe it as?

This is like that dress debate a few years ago, was it blue or yellow… or whatever the options were.

I laid all mine out on a bed that has a white comforter and they looked really dark, almost black. I put them in my car and they have a grayish look when compared to the black HE leather.

I can take some pictures with some different colors on them for contrast if you think that will help.

I prefer the look and feel of the leather but I have kids and car seats and we like to all get dirty so even with the hard to nail down color they do protect the seats and fit well.

Yeah if you don’t mind posting photos whenever you get a chance that would be great. I will be putting them in a black HE also. Which color seat covers do you have?

I got the charcoal poly cotton version.

I’ll get some pics posted for you tomorrow.

This may just muddy the water on the whole color discussion but here are a couple shots on a white and black background of my headrest in the charcoal poly cotton cover. Let me know if I can get you any other pictures.

You are the man, thank you @Artie ! Do you happen to have any photos of it inside your HE? Or the seat cover next to the seat leather by any chance? If not no worries!
