Empty Carb Bowl (1 Viewer)

I am sure this has been discussed - I apologize if bringing up covered topic- she will start and turn over with a blast of starter fluid. Then cuts off- I was able to draw fresh gas from tank to newly installed fuel pump but cannot get the bowl to fill- a couple of caps of HEET in the tank with the fresh gas earlier this week- at the start of the process . Should I unscrewed the fuel inlet line and add some fuel to the bowl or …..

disconnect the fuel inlet pipe going to the carb, does gas get pumped out of it when cranking?
if yes, most likely the needle valve is stuck closed inside the carb
if no, figure out why not

Oh boy- looks like it’s the needle valve- I’m guessing that the only solution is to pull the carb?
