Ya, when Joe went over that in the white 80 he said a Unimog made it as well though it flopped onto two wheels and almost rolled. Joe said he had a hard time turning out of the drop (hard left). Looks like FUN!

Will there be a way (lines) for me to take my 100 through there without wrecking it's body?

There are bypasses for some of the big obstacles, a 100 would likely make it, but would struggle. IMHO an 80 is a better tool for the job. It's about angles, clearance, tire size, etc, it is fun in a big tire 80, in a 100 would likely be work.:meh:

OK then...we'll hit the zone with the 80 first. Once I see the trail then I'll know about the 100. Sounds like Pyeatte...the 80 was much easier on the driver. The 100 had about the same ease through, though the care needed due to the soft suspension started to wear me out. I am old though.

IMHO, nope, Pyeatte is easy in comparison, unless you are talking about the last waterfall. Yes, could run all of the bypasses, but then, why not just run Lower Ajax? This time it was much more stacked than the past, but still challenging. Check this thread for pix of the more challenging areas: https://forum.ih8mud.com/az-copper-state-cruisers/258608-sunday-28th-wheelin.html

Pyeatte....meaning the 100 wore me out! Too much to concentrate about, etc. It seemed half as long in the 80 (thought it was easier that day too).

so, from an outsider's perspective (I mean, I drive an OLD non-fancy truck) - lemme get this right . . .

. . . you just said:

an 80 wheels better than a 100 :flipoff2:

not that I have any dog in this fight :meh:

I saw Phil easily go up an tall and steep embankment that would be very challenging to even walk up.

It was in his 80. :steer:

NOPE! EASIER...Pyeatte is a moderate trail for both Cruisers. I had to pay a lot more attention in the 100 though so I didn't bang it into rocks. The 80 I didn't care and I did put a 4-foot tall boulder into the PS rear door once. Who cares! LOL!

Wow...no way...a Cruiser go up a steep embankment? Dang...I didn't know they could do such a thing. And Phil says how much better he likes his 100. He must be nuts!

I love my 100 and will always have one but I wanted to really wheel and the 80 makes it easier and safer compared to the 100.

Drop it, everyone has their preference in rig. No need for a "my junk is better than yours" argument.:deadhorse: Some even successfully make big ol' chevys wheel! :hillbilly:

You touch my junk and I'll have you arrested! LOL! That guy on YouTube was funny!

Hey, on Elvis...I want my Junk out there. Less to lose! :D

We're heading out there soon. Should be an adventure!
