Electric window issue

ok so. I recently bought this 91 FJ80 and the driver’s side window when it goes up bangs at the top. Like it doesn’t know to stop? Not seeing limit switch or something like that. There are some wires soldered on that I haven’t traced through under the dash yet, help me LC wizards

There is no limit switch on any of the windows. You let go of the switch when the window is closed. No 80 Series came with "auto up" on any window, but there is a modification for that.

Not understanding the "banging at the top".
Is the rubber window run torn?
Is the window not running properly in the track?
Have you inspected the window track?
