Is it possible to reuse a Toyota plug? If so, what is the best method to remove the metal male/female connectors from plug?

If you have a sharp pick, you should be able to depress the little tang and the fitting will pull right out.

Looking at your pic Stick a probe/ pin from the other side of the plug. If you look inside the plug you'll see a raised metal tab on one side of the metal terminal that needs to be pushed down.
