And felt another 5.1 earthquake after 6.9 in Irvine too.
Too many earthquakes.
During the typing, another came.
Three earthquakes a day. Hmmmm

On a serious note, i hope everyone is OK. My father-in-law lives in Rancho Bernardo and REALLY felt it there. I have friends right now in San Felipe who just phoned me (via Sat phone) and they were tossed around a ton! They are packing up now and are concerned about making it back over the border without any issues....Not good.
We felt it for a LOOONNNGGGGG Time here in SouthPark just East of Downtown S.D.
I had just laid down because my alergies are kicking today and then felt the waves. I yeled to Maria that there was an earthquake and she said the dogs are going crazy. So I got up to the door way and she told the dogs to go outside. So we got outside and down a full flight of stairs and into the back yard and it was still going. This is the first time I have been in an earthquake where I actually had time to get outside and felt it necessary to get outside. I felt the two major aftershocks as well. I will probably be sleeping lightly tonight unfortunately.

By the way upgraded to a 7.2 but it was 20 miles deep causing it to be more of a roller quake and not a jolt type quake.
I was in REI with the fam when it hit. I looked up and noticed were were standing under swaying kayaks that were suspended from the ceiling . . .
We felt it pretty good here in Costa Mesa. We were right in the middle of happy birthday for my daughter when everthing started to move. Made me feel like I was on a ship or was really drunk.

Felt it really good in Vista. I was hanging out in the backyard and about 5 beers into the afternoon. Thought i was just a little dizzy till the entire family cam running out of the house into the back yerd.
I did hear there were a few water main breaks in buldings in SD but nothing too serious. So far, 1 fatality in Mexicali.

I was, unfortunately, at work - my fiscal year end. My office is on the 4th floor of a 12 story building in Irvine.
I DO know now what the underside of my desk looks like!!! Building is on rollers and we were moving pretty good! Felt the after shocks too! Figured god was angry at me for working on Easter Sunday!!!

Pretty bad here in Imperial. Garage and house are both tossed as If I were burgled. My '03 VFR not only tipped over, it hit the steel work table and is very badly damaged. All the neighbors were OK except an elderly(92) fell and needed help to get back on the couch. Lots of loose dogs running around spooked.

Felt it at a Easter/B-day party in Elsinore. Funny, i thought i was drunk or something.. but i only had 1 beer LOL!

Haha I was at work in Irvine too! I am on the second floor of a three story building. Usually I get under my desk but I am close to stairs and after a few seconds I decided to walk out. It was still going when I got outside.
I'm just glad as hell they moved my office down from 9! That must've really been swaying up there!
I thought about exiting, but these buildings are a glass facade and there was no way I was going outside. I'm in the complex of four black towers just south of John Wayne on Michelson. The underside of my desk was just fine. Someone pointed out a few loose ceiling tiles this morning that I didn't notice when I did leave about 2 hours after the first one. Certainly felt a couple of the aftershocks too!
