Ifs front diffs are super easy to find too if you need to swap it over. If you're looking next year let me know and I'll have one you can have if it's ADD

Thanks guys...

no prob man, Ill have a lot of parts left over if I decide to keep the 4runner and SAS it. Manual front diff and hubs and stuff, A arms, dumb bracket lift that will let you run 33s-35s if thats what floats your boat. lol

Well on the way to deer lease for my first day of hunting the 4Runner alt crapped out on me.

After having my first spot ruined by guys running dogs I decided to move spots, truck barely started. On way to new spot radio intermittently turned on/off so I immediately turn home, about 50 miles. I stopped at O'Reillys and truck finally lost spark and died. 7v. Had to buy a battery to get home. Dodged a bullet. I got a half months pay of work sitting for me in STL and have to be there by noon tomorrow. Almost spent nite in woods.

So should I do brushes or a new alternator? OEM or reman? I would drop it off somewhere but it's Sunday and I am gone till Friday.

This is fourth effing tday/xmas break down in a row.

Could have just charged the battery if you had time to wait a couple hours. Just get a reman alt and call it good.

I bought an AGM battery to get me home with a non-charging alternator. Is it ok to give it a week till I recharge it, gonna be gone for the next week

AGM don't like to be drained completely. They can be a real biotch to bring back to life after a full discharge. Any chance you can have someone put on that alternator in the week that it sits?

Not necessarily. You can charge through a lead-acid battery with a traditional charger. A charger with an AGM setting is better, but it's not the only way to do it.

Yeah, if I go do it for me. Lol. I ordered a agm battery charger. The only battery charger I have is about 40yo so I didn't hook it up. If it's messed up I will return it.

I finally got smart and bought some Battery Tenders for both of mine. Hook em up and forget about them until you need to go. They say they are good for AGM or regular batteries. Been good so far. I do have an AGM charger as well.

Leaning real hard on 2017 Taco TRD pro with a top for dog and gear and storage flexibility that the cruiser doesn't have. What is best way to buy a new vehicle? My 200 will b4 sale shortly.
