My best friend in high school had a 4runner with one of those in it. We called it the "flipometer." Over many beers and backroads, we often broke our "personal best" on the scale, but thankfully never saw it upside down.

It is, as of this past weekend. Just got it for my fiance. She will drive it for a little while then ill get it haha. Its nice because she drives like a grandma

Opinion poll:

I stumbled upon a supplier (Specter Off-Road) who sells decal versions of vintage LC emblems. I've been thinking about putting either or both FJ40 rear emblems on my tailgate, as it currently doesn't have any emblems. I don't think I want the huge TOYOTA across the back, I prefer the cleaner look without it.

What do y'all think? Would it look cool, or is it total heresy? I'm open to any other suggestions as well.

I think it would look pretty sweet with just the 4wheel drive one on there. Sometimes less is more. I kind of want to take the "efi sr5" and 4Runner badges from my 4Runner. I'm scared the paint will look different under em

I think most of the badges on these things use clips that clip into holes in the panels. If so, you wouldn't be able to just take them off- you'd have to do something about the holes as well.
