Barry, I have a set of strut spacers if you end up going that route. I have the '99 taller springs in the rear and Tundra struts in front. The rear is squatted a little even with a slight spacer. I have some LC coils I've thought about trying but haven't made the time to do it.

So a local friend and I decided to take one "last" ride before the GSMTR raffle sat. afternoon, and I managed to find the trail suggested by a person who i will not name, bit puts on the Appalachian Jamboree, and then managed to find the bottom of a couple of deep mud holes. The last one I didn't make it through. I barely made it out in reverse. Either the suction of the mud or the incline ripped the skid plate off my truck and it folded in half, and the water/mud has wipe the remaining life out of my alternator and starter. Since the runner has 260,000 on the clock, I can only imagine they where about due for replacement.

Note to self, return to your roots Dan P. Get out of truck and ck the mud hole with a stick or something prior to entering, like you used to do in your home state of Louisiana. Especially after a good hard rain the night before.

Definitely one of the baddest ass parks and events I have attended. Park staff was rude as fxxx. Nothing new there. I Will be going back to windrock.

Lil black sambo is shaking back, Got another skid plate and replaced the battery adding to my parts tally. This truck offroad has def exceeded my expectations as to what an ifs truck on 33's can handle. My driverside carpet, well lets just say its been blessed by GSMTR. Gawd ih8mud.

Rear diff fluid, right level and looks decent
Transfer case fluid, right level looks great
Front diff fluid, level a bit high and contaminated.

Prognosis: sambo is going to enjoy memorial weekend at the airport parking lot while I do the rental, bleh.
 
The 87 seems like a deal, especially with the motor as part of the deal. Make a nice little kick around truck.

My guess is that he fell in love with topside and didnt inspect (or ignored) the skanky under the skirt (until it started to burn). the doctor told him the penicillin shot was going to be mad wonga and now he's trying to flip his way out of the problem.
 
Yep. Almost seems like he got had. I don't care how great the body is, that frame screams parts truck. No way that is the original body, those beds were notorious for rusting anyway, I find it unlikely the frame is that trashed and the body is that solid. He'll be lucky to get a grand for it IMHO.
