I thought I could help but the ones I have are vented.

Was it production mo/yr that dictated vented or non-vented? Maybe the vented units are newer?

7/66 here. Mine is non-vented.

OEM rebuild kits are still available FYI so don't rule out a roached one. I got a kit from @cruiseroutfit.

This is the small vent hole I was referring to earlier, zoom in on the cap to see it.
These were from a 65/40.
