e-locker and 4.56 question

i was reading the e-locker wiring question thread, great info by the way, and was wondering if that trd 4.56 e-locker will fit in a 85 mini since it is a 8.0" diff. also If I change to 4.56 gears I have to do that to both diffs correct?

If you had read the entire thread including the links that are in some of the threads then you would have had all the answers. Yes it will fit into an 8" diff front and rear but not without modification to the axle housing. For the modifications required, go back to the other thread and click on the links that are in one of my posts.

If you change to 4.56 then, yes, you have to do it front and rear unless you want to never use 4WD. The factory TRD elocker can be ordered in 4.10, 4.30 or 4.56, therefore, if you want to stay stock (4.10?), just order it in 4.10. That way you don't have to change your front gears.
