Is it me? I'm searching all over looking for pictures of where folks set up a dual battery system and having and ARB compressor under the hood.

I have the stock battery now, but have an ARB rear locker being installed this weekend. I want to have the compressor mounted in a position where it's not going to interfere with the future extra battery.

Show me your pictures ORRRRR show me the link(s) that I missed. This is for a 1991 80 Series.

You can see where my compressor is installed. A bracket was made for it to be installed here.
This is a 97 LC with an engine swap. Maybe this will help though.

I have a 3fe. Dual batteries. I built a small shelf at passenger side firewall to house my aux fuse box and other dual battery stuff. The compressor will have a custom bracket fastened to passenger side fender. I'll have room for my air kit and hose to run to each end of the truck. After that breather extensions. Havent started thinking about that yet. Haven't even found the breather for the t-case yet. After that no more room for stuff. I'm going to vent the hood cuz no room to breathe!!!!!

Here how I have mine set up. Second air compressor will be setup in the rear soon. Not worried about heat in the front location on that side. I had heard of problems on the header side.

FWIW I know of a few people who's ARB has burned up being mounted under the hood. Although it's environmentally sealed, heat is not its friend. Just food for thought.

I have had mine under hood for nearly 10 years with no issue...:meh:
