Driveshaft compatability? (1 Viewer)

Will a 97 rear driveshaft out of an LX fit a 96 80 series LC? Buying a trail spare and wanted to verify this will work for me, thx.

I don't see why it wouldn't, they're essentially the same vehicle. Major differences being interior, cladding and extras. They have the same engine, same transmission and same axles, doubtful that Toyota changed pinion and transfer case flanges for a Lexus.
