From posting: 1965 Landcruiser fj45lv. I purchased this LV with such excitement...it is so rare to find one with a body in such good shape. Doors close well, rear hatch does too. My plans were to finish the inside and leave the outside "patina". Rear quarter ribs are good. Front axle has disc brakes. The engine is a v8. The vehicle is in the process of restoration...windows, door latches and lights are off. I have had three of these and this is the best I have seen to start with. Vehicle does include 16" split rims. Would love to keep, but another restoration and obligations prevent me from completing all. It does need seats and a full restoration. It does need repair at the drip edge. This truck is "brass tagged" 1965, but was built in 64.

Yep, this is mine. I bought it in Redding California for the same price it is listed for now. I have two 45s I am working(and two early Broncos) on and building a house in the Spring. I dont see touching this for a year or so. It was my plan to do an exterior patina and rebuild inside and put a 2F in it. I did get a 2F and 4 spd...those are not included. I would like to sell/I would like to keep. Never saw a 45 I didnt want!

So tempting.... How bad is the roof? Other rust areas too? You have all of the glass and lights? The motor? Runs? Drives and stops? Thanks.

The roof itself is great and has no dents. Most have been creased or stood on over time. However, there are several spots whee the roof meets the gutter that rust will have to be repaired. The PO had the roof off, so removing it will be easy...he tacked it back on for my transport.

Ok, so yes, I have this LV listed on Craigslist. I did not list it here. I do love to buy, restore and drive cruisers. The one thing I have to admit to not loving is selling my cruisers. I have enjoyed cruiser friendships from Florida to Washington State and down to Texas, I just dont enjoy the process of selling on this forum. I dont sell my rigs for a living. I truly only sell when I couldnt help but to buy too many than I could physically store or work on. There is soo much invaluable knowledge and comrade to be enjoyed here by 99.9% of the users. I just find that the .1% seem to show up when stuff is sold here. That being said, I will continue to offer this for sale as it is on CL and answer questions directly rather than starting a for sale thread. I hope you can understand.
