Here is my pure bred shepherd. She is my family’s dog, but they have been gone for the last few week.

I find she has become very clingy to me, and needs constant attention, which was different from our last more independent shepherd.

I find going for swims right after the beach helps a lot when it comes to managing her hyper activity.

Still, this dog is a lot of work, but she’s worth it.

A tired dog is a good dog.

I have a soft spot for tripod dogs. One of my childhood dogs was put down due to a mangled leg and I resent that to this day

I've never had one. She lost her leg almost 2 weeks ago. So she's still figuring things out.
She can do stairs and get in the couch though.

PERHAPS A WORLD’S RECORD…..
It took my daughter’s rescue shelter dog, less than 5 minutes to turn this toy into a fashionable necklace.

Didn't like the whip cracking from somewhere, so came inside to hide....

And then someone put the sheet over my head, and that was even better....

And just after I posted that, I found they were both quite comfy on the sofa together. Only in the last ~4 months or so have they actually wanted to lie near one another - normally it's one in one spot, the other well away.
