Nicest it’s been in a week and the poor guys are having to suffer at work. As I type this Pig decided to come ask if he can go to the back side of the property.

For the last 12 days I've been nursing this parvovirus puppy. 5 or 6 times she's crashed, and the only real nutrition she has gotten is IVs and Karo syrup. This morning she woke up with colored mucus coming from her nostrils, so to was off to the emergency vet where they prescribed tamafil and doxy. 2 hours after the first dose, she is eating ravenously and acting like a puppy.
I gotta admit I sat down right there and ugly cried. Anyone who has fought to keep a parvo puppy alive knows what I'm talking about.

Had a lovely couple adopt Snoopy, and they promptly renamed him Chakotay, since they are Trekkies and Central/South American academics.
Picked up a new foster named Memphis. He's some kind of shepherd/cattle dog mix. During introductions with the Rottweiler/ridgeback mix, Clifford, it went very well. Then Clifford peed on Memphis. And not just a marking pee. Looked like gallons. Time for a bath....

This is my first post. These two are my best friends. They are shelter dogs. We think they’re brother and sister, probably blue tick and something else mix. The girl is the sweetest dog we’ve ever had. The boy is the happiest dog I’ve ever seen. His motto is “everything is awesome “!
