Yup, down the bottom of the dash centre, is a rotary knob
Whew - I thought I was too stupid to find it.
I don't have one on my 86 LJ70. It is the first car I've owned without one.
Cheers,
Rich
My 79 series has one is the same spot as strick posted
Ya, Im with ya...I dont have one in either location....was unsure if the PO had deleted, mod-ed..now Im thinking the LJ's were never equipped with it...dont think I can ever remember seeing a car/truck without it ???

Could be wrong...but that does not look like an OEM toyota switch..????
It appears Toyota located the switches based on the installers mood and day of the week.
My ole HJ75 ( 1985 ) has an interior light dimmer.
