Are your hands shredded with teeth marks from playin? I remember coming to work one day & people were commenting on what happened to my hands. I use gloves now  Those needleteeth will getcha good. I'll see if I can find a pic of my Doberpup with his ears cropped. He looks great, BTW!

Haha. Yeah, those little teeth are sharp! I've only got a few trace marks right now...I've been trying to tone down the rough playing lately, since he almost drew blood a couple of times!

how much does it run to crop ears and tail?

[I'm still very much wanting to get Flex a doberman bud]

I paid $450 for Rocker. The tail was already done. While I was searching for a puppy, I found that they range anywhere from $200 up to thousands of dollars. The actual crop was $150 plus anesthesia and whatnot. Count on $200 to $250 after all is said and done for the ear crop. When I add up everything, including the crate I bought and all his shots, I've got just over $1,000 in this dog.

Rocker has a nice natural stack. Good rear angulation (can't wait to see what the yahoos come up w/ for that!) And no reason those ears won't stand, unlike some of the longer crops.

TJDIV: I paid $900 for my 1st dober, nothing for the last 3 (friend was breeding). Next go-round I'll be looking for a rescue, if I get another dog. http://www.fldobermanrescue.bizland.com/ is local for you. Rescue dobers run around $250.

Thanks. Have you seen many mid-length or show crop length ears fail to stand with proper care?
