Who would crop a dog's ears aside from some dog show fawk? I may have just answered my own question. Nice looking pup, dood.
I have read where one possible reason is to keep it from getting mangled in a fight. As I have already seen, my parents shepherd goes straight for the ears, so there may be some logic there.
