Since we see nothing about this are wondering who is going. Also, do we want to do a group feed? That is if anyone is going. It's only 3 weeks away.

I plan on making it. I'm in for a group feed. What can I bring? I could bring some wild boar I hunted in January. Anyone taking a smoker?

Is everyone camping? I need to read up on the place. Can I get a pop up camper in there? I was thinking of towing the pop-up down with the 60. Will someone tow my camper back when I break the 60? How about towing the 60 back?

I'm up to trying something new, never had wild boar. Can you use it for stew, we were thinking a big pot of stew might just hit the spot as it will probably still be cool at night. What are the thoughts of others?

Hogan's

Russ is a super nice guy and really supports the hobby. Campground is pretty decent and the showers although not the prettiest looking are generally clean. If it is an otherwise slow weekend camp should be quiet. OBTW don't camp under the bright street light. :D Mr. C

Piss and moan, piss and moan..... that light didn't hinder my camping:flipoff2:

It would work great in a stew. Meat is not gamy tasting at all. It's a little darker than regular pork. Smokes real good, so would think that stew would work great.

I head back to work tomorrow after a week off. I will know for sure if my schedule allows for me to attend.

Let us know if you will be there. If not we will think of something else to eat. Still need to know if everyone wants to do a group feed, could do Sat. night and both breakfasts I think. If so, what does everyone want to eat?? We could bring the stuff and then get paid back. That might be easier than coming up with missing ingredients, or not. Give us your thoughts. Time is a running out.

Peggy,

Just a suggestion, there is a nice grocery store in Langley, just across the bridge from Disney so you wouldn't have to pack in and keep all your food cold etc., we usually buy everything there on the way into Hogan's. There is also a VERY GOOD restaurant about 5 or 6 miles the other side of Disney called Crosby's or Cosby's (I never can remember) that has AWESOME catfish plus a full menu and room for larger groups.

I'm still undecided if I'll make this trip or not.... too juch stuff going on but I love wheeling Disney.

myself, jake, robby, josh and christian...i like the idea...since peggy brought it up of one person picking up the groceries and all eating splitting up the bill....the old crows eat free...their share gets divided among the rest of us....sorta of a thank you....what to eat i have no preference....nor do any of the other members in my party...what ever can be made easily to feed lots of people...we will bring beverages for the group

Sounds good to me! I think thats a great idea! tell me what I owe and you will have your money. For a head count I will have Bob, Mark (non TAC member) and Myself.

So far I count 12 if Brian is going to make it and no one is bringing someone they haven't listed. Since we won't be down until Fri. afternoon or evening, maybe we could all eat at the place Mike is talking about. Any thoughts? Thanks for offering to cover our food, that isn't necessary, but we accept. Any suggestions for food for breakfast (2), does the stew sound okay for Sat. night? Do you want us to do lunch also? Something simple like sandwiches and chips? We can do coffee sort of, the big pot is in the camper and it's at the lake. Probably easier if everyone brings their own other refreshments. I thinks that's it for now.
