I have read several threads and understand the process but I’m looking for honest opinions on how difficult it is to add a boost compensator to my 1HZ IP?

-Tools you wish you had or would help complete it.

-Parts that made you run to the auto parts store because you didn’t have it.

-difficulties you had that made a 2 hour job turn into a 4 day job.

Would like to tackle it this weekend over my 3 days off but I’m a one-man-band with the closes parts store 40min away.

Thanks

Since your thread has sat unanswered, I thought I'd give you a little help, even though it won't be enough.

If you have the flat top pump right now, without the high alt comp top-hat on it, you can check my thread here and at least get some info for removal of the original cover... It can be done in place, but is a royal pain.

Once you get your BC top ready to go on though, someone else will need to tag in...

This might be help to get started though?
