Ohhh did you guys miss out! Desoto is a cool, fun trail with a little of everything. We ran into all kinds of weirdness; an abandoned tow truck slid off of the tippy side hill section of the trail, a Ford something or other SUV high centered in the middle of the trail on a downhill section, it too abandoned (no doubt what the tow truck was after). Had to end up winching the SUV out of the way. A mild section of rockcrawling with a nifty optioal obstacle. All kinds of up hill/down hill action. I lifted a wheel at least 3 times :o, Pyro did two huge lifts :o, the accompanying Suburban got 2 good lifts :o. Pretty much an all day trail. I used my winch twice, which is a record. Pulled out the high-lift 3 times. Oh yeah, another flat tire, courtesy of BFG (on the Burb), but no broken parts, 9well a broken weld on a front bumper ) All Birfields remained intact :D. Photos on the way!

In reverse? :D

Found out a little more about the rental Ford Explorer and the tow truck. It took 3 trucks to get the tow truck out, but they did get it. They could NOT get to the Explorer, but because we winched it out of the way 8), they were able to drive it back to the main road. The Explorer was rented in Sedona, and apparently the people were from England ???. Hmmmm... That explains the Lipton Iced Tea, but not the Rice Crispy Treats. :D
