My apologies for the above re-post. I was trying to merge a poll with the GSMTR post and accidentally clicked on it by mistake. I was able to recover what is above but not the comments.

THIS TRUCK IS STILL FOR SALE. I TALKED WITH TIM'S MOM A FEW DAYS AGO.

Luis and I will be there.

Luis and I, Rocky, Laura, and Jesse will be going up Tuesday morning the 15th of May. Anyone is welcome to join us. We'll rendezvous somewhere around Ocala. Early!

Rocky, Archie finally picked up his phone yesterday. He seemed much more interested after I gave him the price. Now we all just have to push him to buy it, cause I need it gone, and he needs a cruiser

CRUISEORLANDO ,

What time do you think you will be at Hard Rock on the 15th . I have a couple more coming from Palm Bay , but they want be here until Saturday afternoon and want to wheel Sunday . Hell I'll wheel all weekend doesn't matter to me , just let me know .

Dunno. I'm thinking if you all are going to camp Sat/Sun, I could do that. I probably couldn't leave Orlando until after lunchtime, putting me in Ocala around 2-3p.

If I just did the 15th, I'd leave at 8A and be there around 9:45.

Heh. I still have mud to clean out of my rig from LAST weekend up there...

So how does this work? What do I need to bring food-wise? Do most of you sleep in tents or in your rig?

Don't have any ... yet! They're coming together in my head. This sounds good, tho. I think I'll do the Sat/Sun thing.

Do most open fire cook or campstove? Or is there even open fire allowed?

Hopefully by now everyone who is going to GSMTR knows how they are getting there . If not please fill free to call Archie and he will be more than happy to explain how you will get your fxxxin dumbass there . Archie is most knowlegdible in the art of how to help stupidass's arrive at GSMTR in a complete matter . But don't totally depend on the old a****** cause he will lead you astray if pastin a strip club of any sort . Like most of us still breathing , he wants a nice cold beer and wants to see something naked ( I hope female anyway ) .

We usually cook like a small steak or hamburger with some kinda veggie over the camp fire . Just bring what you like to eat , someone will have someway of cooking it .

Some don't know how to cook and go a mile up the road to one of 6-8 restaurants from Mc D's to Sonnys. I have a brand new coleman stove in the box you can have that a neighbor gave me last week...I already have one. Also extra tent if you don't want to sleep in you vehicle which you are welcome to use. Some, like Luis, are scared of the boogie man but there's nothing up there that eats humans. Don't worry about making any impressions as we are one big family and we'll see to it that no one gets left out and if you don't know how to do something and are eager to learn a few of us old timers will teach. We're a straight forward bunch that like to laugh and have fun.

Where in Orlando do you live? I live in Winter Park.

We got shot down last year because of width and height restrictions not to mention you cannot have any cargo visible...new DOT restrictions. Not to say an independent might make an exception but I couldn't find any that didn't lie or make false promises. It is a pitiful industry unfortunately. After seven attempts to move a 60 down from Rhode Island the truck arrived a week later than promised and I spent at least 8 hours on the phone to finally make it happen.
I hope you find someone because I know it will fill.

I'm riding shot gun with Luis...would you like to ride in the back seat?
(Hint: you can see who voted by hovering over the number of voters in each category...I made them public so we would know who's going)
