South to North is supposed to be a little more challenging and sounds really fun. . .
It ends/starts at Blue Lakes which is 12 miles from hwy 88 (start of hope valley). There are several great places to camp that would easily accept as many or maybe a few more rigs as the BR trip.

We stayed at a BEAUTIFUL camp site last year, one similar to the BR camp...
Right up against the river, canopied in trees! Bug repellant is a MUST!

Sheesh...and I needed bug repellant at BR...chiggers or some type of critter has traced a bracelet around my ankle
. Living in Reno you get used to the bug free zone!I think I'll get one of those Raid foggers...take down all the bugs in a 100' circle
Since Fordyce is going to be re-scheduled I have the weekend of June 30 and July 1 free. I'm trying to talk
into doing this as a day trip. Probably June 30th.

...I do remember you offering. Never dreamed there would be chiggers/mites there.
The whole tent camping thing is kind of new to

. Plus we can take Jake easier if we don't have a bunch of camping gear in the back of the 40.
I talked to Mark Weeks and we are doing the trail on the 30th. If anybody is interested we are meeting at the Woodfords store at 9:00 with a 9:30 leave time. I've never done the trail but as I understand it takes about four hours so pack a lunch. The plan is to do it south to north.

Since this is a day trip and it sucks driving home in the dark it would be great if everybody who is going commits and we could leave as soon as everyone is at the meet location. It sucks to sit around for 20 minutes waiting for the "maybe" crowd to show. Just my 2¢ worth I'll leave it up to majority rule.
I think I can't make it. . . .

My compadre and his wife (I went to Nursing school with BOTH of them) are coming into town.
He lives in Boise ID, so I DONT wanna miss hangin with him for the day!
