We left Woodfords at 9:15, We were on the trail by 10:30. We took 30 - 45 minutes for lunch before the 1st water crossing, and I think we were at Blue Lake by 2:00. With just two SOA'd 40's, locked and geared, you can motor right along on that trail.We have a lot of fun with the wagons, but there is a lot to be said for going with rigs of similar capabilities.
Mark and Marchel(sp?) are a lot of fun to wheel with. She is a sweet kid and Mark is really easy going. I don't know how many trips I've been on with those two, but I do know they are always fun to be around.
I think we are game for Deer Valley almost anytime anybody wants to go.

I cant wait to go back...I talked to the wife, and shell get the time off once the dates are set! Its a BITCHIN lil trail.
The one in Aug...we gonna camp? Is that the plan?
I started the build of my x member for the traction bar, and the sliders will be here soon too, so Ill be feeling pretty protected this time around!

Im proposing the first or second weekend of August!
I donno if it would be a stretch or not, but assuming this was a Sat- Sun. deal, we could run Deer Valley all the way though on Sat, and go up into Strawberry Canyon after, up to the camp site. Camp and be merry, run the rest of Strawberry Sunday.
