I have no reference as to where the rear cab mounts go.
So, I partially assembled the rig and adjusted the rear of the cab up or down until it has the best fit.
If someone has a better idea on how to do this, please feel free to let me know.

I was amazed how much the front moves when the back of the cab is positioned up or down.
The engine fits under the hood with plenty of clearnace (1") for the 4BTA to shake and wiggle on start up and shut down.

None of the spare mounts I have will work for the rear of the cab.
I have several 5" body mount bolts but the rear cab mounts require a minimum of a 6" bolt.

Making some new rear cab mounts.
When i was aligning my rear cab mounts i leveled the cab with the frame. Parallel. I had the same issue relocating the rear mounts. You do quick work!

I have no real reference so How does this look? The top outer set of holes will get 3/8 Grade 8 bolts. The center hole adn the bottom holes will get welded.
Opinions or Better Ideas before I drill and weld in the arguably weakest part of the frame?

Here is how it looks with the mounts installed.
I cannot use the large diameter mount on top since the Lip on the bottom of the cab mount. I cannot use it on the bottom since there is not enough room for it. The bottom mount has a twin to the top.

I used the grinder and modified the pucks to fit by making them slightly oval. Looks great. Better and stronger than my modification of the stock rear mount.

Dinner was not quite ready so I went back out to the shed and welded them on. For size reference, that is a 7/16" Grade 8 Bolt.
Body mounts look good Dan.

Kinda stumped on how to make this all work out and still have the strength to properly mount the seat.
It looks like you're on the right track by moving that brace back. It was all cut out on my truck. I have nothing to move.
My seats don't mount to that crossmember at all. The drivers sits on the tool box in the stock, and very sketchy, location. The passenger seat frame goes from the rear boxed bracing to the floor forward of the fuel tank.

Reinforced the opening.
Added a seat mount
Set the transmission hump on to see how much modification it is going to need.

Nice work so far D'Animal, looks like you have had to jump through some hoops. I like your new body mounts, they look really strong, Keep it up
