There was a 64 on Bring A Trailer.com recently. One of the comments was "that truck is no unicorn. There was at least a half a dozen of them around where I grew up."

yeah, no. I'll bet there weren't too many dealers that every saw a half dozen of those in total, let alone all at once. That truck is a nice rare score. Well found.

The one on the auction site was a csb conversion, but very clean and recently restored. It went for $50,100.

It was also in Lily White, as all the best ones are.


Are your front springs whupped or are you pulling the front down with the tie down straps?
 
Those bolts look like the drum brake backing plate deals IIRC. I think I left mine out too but it's been years since I have opened one up
 
I was thinking the bolts are for locating the drum to axle but they are straight not phillips
 
Damn you Dan, I knew where that truck was, buddy had a fab shop in that yard, built my current car.
I knew those RVs were behind those gates but no idea about the 45 in there. I had a 64 with fixed cab,
