How long ago was the OME lift installed? Was the rear seat bar not retightened correctly when the OME suspension was installed?

Gary at Mudrak's did the OME installation just a month ago. I assume he did what needed to be done? I'll reach out to him as well.

You're biggest risk is vehicle stability in corners or during emergency maneuvers. If you drive cautiously and a bit under the speed limit, you should be able to limp it home.

Looking at the bolt, it seems that the nut backed off the bolt resulting in the loose linkage.

^^^This.

No worries, you've done nothing harmful to the truck. Get a new nut, and put the sway bar back on the bracket. You'll need to loosen the KDSS set screws but the installer can do that.

Nut is torqued to 35 ft. lb.

Thanks for the posts. Spoke with Gary, and yes a simple fix and I can still drive it. Unfortunately Gary is about 2 1/2 hours away from here but no one in my town works iwth KDSS system

DIY or a mechanic can follow the ARB KDSS informational just like the rest of us. The rear is pretty easy compared to front, once the valves are open put a bottle jack under the KDSS piston (rear driver) and slowly compress it until you can get the bolt through. Follow reverse KDSS valves and you're done.

There are a few threads on this, but just remember to back out the KDSS set screws ONLY 3 turns. Then do the bottle jack technique to raise the sway bar link into place. When you go to close the KDSS valves, torque to just 8 ft. lbs. and then slather them in marine grease as a preventative measure since they have a tendency to rust shut....even in dry, arid climates.....

+1 on the marine grease. I'm in a winter salt climate and greasing the bolts twice a year has kept them in extremely good shape so far

If the valves are open you can strong-arm the bar into place, bench press style. It'll move slowly but it's doable.

If the valves are close. You're not moving them.

Another way the worked really well for me is to move the hinge point up with a floor jack and piece of wood really slowly. That's how I did it after I disconnected mine to install the rear springs.

Oh man, I've been in Chico and Redding since last Wednesday. Wish I would have known you were here and had a issue. Would've come over and helped you with this and picked your brain on a few things in the area. We're leaving this morning though.

Yeah that's a much better pic/description of what you'll need to do, it's probably also how yours looks right now. So yeah just jack up right there and get that bolt on! Good luck.
