I’ve searched a number of related threads and don’t see the OEM part number. If it’s already posted please feel free to link and let me know my search skills are lacking.

I’m repacking my passenger side inner CV boot with grease and want to replace the clamps with OEM. Need both large and small clamps. Noticed the outer boot clamps (closest to wheel) are yellow, the inner clamps which I need are stainless color. Unsure why they are different.

My google search gives me the following:
42345-08060
42345-60060

Can anyone confirm these are correct part numbers for the inner CV boot clamps or provide the what would be the right part numbers?

Thanks in advance.

NAPA CV boot clamps. Large and small. They work get, and no need to remove FDS (AKA: CV) to re-clamp. I've used for over 10 years, on many 100 series. No issues no regrets. Cheap and fast.

Watch the Car Care Nuts Video on Rebuilding Toyota CVs.
He is a Toyota Savant.

You Right - but the Boot and Clamps are Same Construction. From what I read OEM is only way.

I'm about to Embark, but I have a GX which is not same as LX, but they Close.

I’m going to see if I can source these at the local NAPA. @2001LC Do I just ask for small and large sizes or would there be variations of small and large to consider?

NAPA has only two sizes of CV boot clamps.

I most frequently find grease weep, at the small inner CV boot. Between axle and boot at clamp. Once in awhile, I'll find a weep, at one of the large clamps.

Typically, we see a little lighter colored (gray) grease weep out, at seam where axle and boot meet. Sure sign of loose clamp.

Notice, next to diagonal cutter pliers. Blue metal tab, bent upward. There's two metal tabs actually, that I bent upward off the factory band clamp. This loosen the band of clamp, so I can get my cutter under band to cut.

Next, I push back boot and clean up. Making sure, boots inner axle groove/slot, where boot seats in, is clean.

Then pull back boots. Seating, boots inner lip, in axle groove.

I like to, set clamp into its approximant position it will end up in, once it's on boot. Bending as needed, to get a nice tight circle. Just to make a tad easier to install.

Squeeze on by hand, hooking clamps tab, in as tight as possible on band, by hand. Then put my NAPA clamp crimp pliers on, to crimp on tight.

I'll have a small gap at crimp. Which allows me to re-sung (crimp), if needed (weep) in future.
The end of the clamp. Tends to have a tail sticking up. Yellow arrow.

I lightly tap tail in, flush to band.

Notice, I've oriented clamp. So forward rotation, tail follows. In such a way, tail of band clamp will not catch weeds.

I'm assuming you got your clamps by now. I'm about to do my boots as well. I decided to go the route of getting some embossed rolled edge worm drive clamps as some have suggested. Here is a link to the clamps I ended up getting. https://hcl-clamping.com/collection...ll-304ss-band-screw-8-0mm-160-0mm-0-31-6-29in

Also, CruiserTeq also carries a set.
